We Also Walk Dogs takes their name from a 1941 short story by Robert Heinlein about a company that specializes in solving impossible problems. For an event they commissioned a brochure spoofing the dot com era. A cheeky, fictitious company, Next Day Dogs, was created whereby a dog could be ordered and shipped within 72 hours.
